I really liked this book but it's a tedious read. The pacing is slow, the prose dense, and the text tiny. Combined, it makes for sluggish reading. Luckily, one good thing about the book being long is that the reader has more opportunities to see the amazing artwork. Visually stunning, this a literal graphic novel. It's like an adult reading level picture book. The Other History of the DC Universe is a very rewarding read.
