I’m underwhelmed. Would I have liked it more if I waited to read Secret History? Probably not honestly. I think this one just didn’t really work for me.
What I didn’t like: I found it too predictable overall. There was a side quest I didn’t think was necessary. I’m left with tons of unanswered questions. The twists were not very twisty for me. I realllyyyyy didn’t like a certain trope that Sanderson loves to use.
What I liked: I think the characters like Steris and Wayne really come alive in this book more so that in the others.
Overall Rating: 3.25/5
TW: death, torture, graphic violence, murder
