I've yet to read an Alexandra Hale book that I don't fall completely in love with. She writes small town romance with all the found family and steam to complete perfection.
Pen runs from her wedding, right into the waiting arms of her best Friend, Lake, who's always had feelings for her. Tucked inside Lake's cabin in the mountains, Pen sees him in a different light. Their friendship formed a connection that easily translated into more.
All the banter and tension between Pen and Lake was fun and steamy all wrapped in one. Such an enjoyable read!
