All My Rage
by Sabaa Tahir
Children of immigrants living in a small, racist town. Both dealing with deep traumas. Both fighting to survive to a more promising future. This is such a powerful book about forgiveness. Forgiving others and yourself for their/your limitations and mistakes. The main characters are deeply flawed but not one-dimensional. The supporting characters are not as well balanced and developed.
Beautiful writing. Would recommend.
