I was excited for this one because I loooved the first book so much. I liked the friend group, and I loved seeing Peyton and Brayden again... But I just couldn't like the main couple for this book.

I know the MMCs fiancee isn't that great, but he still kinda emotionally (later physically) cheated on her and I didn't like that. He also knew from the first meeting that the FMC had a bad experience on always being the side woman and he still goes and HIDES the fact he was engaged?!? And he still goes for her later on??! I mean I get his trauma but idk the book seemed so fast paced and there really wasn't any build up on both the characters pasts so I didn't feel any connection to the couple as individuals. I kept getting shocked when we see the MMC again and he STILL hasn't broken it off with the fiancee. He's so wishy washy and only decided to leave her ON THEIR WEDDING DAY. There also seemed way to many 3rd act conflicts, which were quickly and neatly fixed at the end.

Sadly didn't enjoy this book that much. I'm not rlly interested in Mia's book as well (the next book), but really want to read Kennedy's! Too bad she doesn't have one last I checked on gr.
