The Library Book by Susan Orlean
5.0
informative medium-paced

Ahhh this book. It took me a couple of years to finish because I was finally able to get my hands back on it (as a loan from the library, of course).
Growing up the library was my safe space, my place to dream and play. This book is for everyone who also feels that special feeling for the library.
Here we learn about libraries in general, life as a librarian and history while focusing on the Central Library in Los Angeles and the fire it endured in the ‘80s.
While it drags at points, there is still magic to it and so much to be learned.
