This was just okay. There were lots of repetitive lines like “he’s dead” or as another reviewer pointed out, “zoom zoom juice” that got annoying. It was a bit slow and jumbled in the middle but ended solidly. I guessed one of the plot twists fairly early on (and it reminded me of love of my after life a bit!). It wasn’t a bad read but I didn’t love it either. I love Seven Year Slip so much more. I do appreciate the author’s fresh take on being earthside and not earthside, playing with timelines and whatnot, but this could’ve been edited more. I’ll check out any other books she writes though!
