I absolutely loved The Snowman! It’s darker and more violent than most of Stine’s books, and I am here for every moment of it. The wintery, atmospheric setting pulled me in immediately, perfectly complementing the story’s spooky and sinister tone. The main character, as expected in a Stine book, is hilariously oblivious, which adds to the fun. But the real highlight is the creative and chilling villain—unsettling, unique, and so well-suited to the cold, eerie vibe of the story. This is a quick, fast-paced read that’s as dark as it is thrilling. If you love atmospheric YA horror with a sharp edge, this one’s a must-read!
