Ask the Passengers by A.S. King
4.0

**SPOILERS!!!**
Astrid needs to confide in someone about her attraction to her female coworker, but she doesn't know who to talk to. Not her amiable pot-head dad, her better-than-this-small-town mom, and her super-sporty, popular, and busy younger sister. Not her best friend - Kristina, a recently outed lesbian who had been "dating" the town's golden boy, also recently outed, would pressure her to come out, too. But Astrid doesn't know if she's gay. She's never been attracted to a girl before, but her coworker is fun, cool, attractive and a great kisser. So Astrid confides her secrets to the passengers of the airplanes flying over her small town, sending up good thoughts, wishes, questions, all of which seem to resonate with at least one passenger each time, with a snippet of their life shown in a page or two, interspersed with Astrid's journey as she figures out at least part of her sexuality.
