Girl Coming in for a Landing by April Halprin Wayland

3.0

While many of the individual poems were quite profound and lovely to read, this book lacked a sort of unifying theme. It didn't quite feel like there was much of a rising action, climax, and resolution happening here. This novel in poems was nowhere near as clever as the endeavors [author: Sharon Creech] has put forth in her effort to write novels through poems. [book: Love That Dog] is still one of my favorite books of all time.
