The Arm: Inside the Billion-Dollar Mystery of the Most Valuable Commodity in Sports by Jeff Passan
5.0
After reading this book I now have a better understanding of the Tommy John procedure as well as the long road of recovery a pitcher must face.
The stories in the book also support what most of us know, year round single-sport playing does not do a child good. I loved the author's criticism of the "elite youth baseball programs".
As an added bonus, I will definitely be rooting for Daniel Hudson the next time I watch him pitch!
