Wow. I cried so much at the end of this book and in retrospect, I feel like I really should’ve seen the connection between Monique and Evelyn coming once I got to a certain part of the story but I somehow still didn’t. Evelyn is such a complex character, I have no idea how to feel about her. I was hooked as soon as Evelyn started telling her story. I had no idea where this was going but it was such an interesting read.
