Hooked is a dark romance, we follow Wendy and James/Hook in a modern underbelly type world.
This book is definitely for those who wished the love interest would chose the villain. Hook is dark, evil even, but very much a gentleman at heart. Wendy is innocent to a point, but wishes for that to be destroyed.
There is a lot of little nods to Peter Pan, but each of the characters have generally new roles or interpretations.
I would say it's only a 2.5-3/5 on the spicy scale. But it does get rather dark and gruesome quickly outside of those spicy scenes.
The story was a little predictable, but overall an enjoyable read.
