Really enjoyed, though certainly not as much as Butcher and Blackbird…
While I like the characters I didn’t find the storyline nearly as compelling. And the whole murder, who done it plot was extremely lackluster.
Overall, I don’t believe this book was quite as balanced as the first in the series. Having said that, I am excited to get to Roses and the baby brothers story next!
Basically it’s more of a suspend your disbelief and enjoy the ride type book!
And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, at times that’s exactly what I’m looking for!
I can fly through Breanne Weavers books, love her writing, highly readable and an author I’ll continue to pick up!
