Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens

3.0

It took me a long time to finish this book but I'm satisfied. The story of Kya, her abandonment, and how because of it, she became a very isolated person not just by everyone in the community but also and most importantly by herself was amazingly described. Even though I loved that part of the story and her relationship to Tate there where things that didn't make sense like, for example, I felt that after the trial everything seemed rushed... like the author tried to make the happy ending happen forcefully. But the last last episode was not expected haha nice detail.

I enjoyed the book. It had some very unrealistic scenarios but it's enjoyable.
