It was fine. I was intrigued by the synopsis but I kinda lost interest when I realized this was one of those romances where the love interest/mmc is thousands of years old and the fmc is a teenager. Still, I decided to give it a chance bc the plot still sounded interesting
Like I said, it was fine. I kept rolling my eyes at the wording of things a lot of the time, at the insta lust, and at the amount of times the fact that Kyan was “huge and muscular” was mentioned (specially at the beginning), and finally at the whole “mates” thing (“soulmates” I could take, likely more in a fanfic setting, but “mates” just makes me roll my eyes, it’s too…possessive and animalistic for me)
I’m sure romantasy enjoyers will, in fact, enjoy this (I mean, they have, the book has a rating of almost 4⭐️), but for me it was too cliché
