The Third Plate: Field Notes on the Future of Food
by Dan Barber
This book will make you want to eat. The author describes the food so lovingly and makes it all sound so enticing, I'm now obsessed with trying to find some.
I'm amazed the book is written by a professional chef and not a professional writer, the descriptions make all the foods sound fantastic.
The overall message of the book, changing how we farm and how we cook, is more a call to action rather than a detailed plan on how to make it possible.
