Woah, talk about a trilogy conclusion! As I've said before, the writing in these books is not as lyrical (on the whole) as that of John Green or Gayle Foreman, though the books do have shining moments of touching dialogue. What really impressed me about this book, (book 3/3 of the Selection series), was that Cass proves herself as a master of concept and plot. This was the strongest book of the three and one I'd readily recommend to teen or adult YA readers.
I frequently recommend this series to fans of MATCHED and HUNGER GAMES-- it has the love-triangle and dystopic qualities that fans of those series appreciate, and a fabulous "Bachelor/Bachelorette" basis that keeps things interesting.
