Leviathan Wakes by James S.A. Corey

3.0

Disclaimer... This is going to be a super lame review.

I was hoping I was going to love this book, but I ended up just barely liking it. I can't really say there was anything wrong with it... It was well written, I wasn't bored, it had an intriguing plot... But I don't know, maybe I'm starting to realize that spacey science fiction just isn't my thing? It's not really interesting to me and I think that prevents me from being fully pulled into the story. There are some exceptions... [b:The Martian|18007564|The Martian|Andy Weir|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1413706054s/18007564.jpg|21825181] being one huge one.. But that was very character driven, and not so much with the out there future technology stuff. I'm a sucker for a good character driven story. And while the characters were fine in this book, it was definitely a plot driven story, not character driven.

So 3 stars because while there was nothing wrong with it, it just wasn't my thing. I think I just need to find the category of sci-fi I'm interested in and stick with that...
