It was fast paced and kept me hooked the whole time. I was worried about how the sensitive topics of this book would be handled… and I was right to be worried. Especially at the very end of the book there is a reveal that feels like it was just added to be gross. It doesn’t add anything to the story and it actively takes away from the previous messaging. I really liked this book, and then it dropped from a 4 star book to a 3 star book in the last few paragraphs

unexpected, and not well handled grooming and pedophilia. Some of it is clear based on the description of this book and you may think you can handle it, but the book tries to throw in some twists by revealing an extra pedophile at the very end
