I feel like I’ve seen this plot before, and there weren’t really any twists you couldn’t see coming from a mile away, but I still really enjoyed it. Particularly the fact that the whole time we were in the head of someone who’s getting brainwashed before our very eyes. It was very interesting to see how she grew to hate our villain and love her more and more at the same time. It was a really great exploration on how abusers and cult leaders get people to follow them.
