3.5 stars- the plot was good- had me until the end. However, the author does a bit too much hand-holding (in the form of repetition and spelling things out that have already clearly been implied) for my tastes. She didn’t give her readers much credit to be able to deduce much on their own, even the most irrelevant minutiae. That got really annoying after a while.
