Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny by Holly Madison

4.0

As the interest in the early 2,000’s has seemingly taken over my internet feed, the playboy mansion become increasingly fascinating to me. Look, I won’t lie and say this book is incredibly written, eye-opening, or whatever, but it sure was…. a trip. We already knew that Playboy as a whole was messed up, right? Hugh Hefner was a piece of misogynistic crap, right? Something about reading about it from the biased point of view of one of his #1 girlfriends just made me shudder even more, whether what Madison wrote about was 100% true or not. If you’re looking for a book to give you some good “early 2000’s Hollywood”visuals, give this a go. It certainly wasn’t a waste of my time.
