A beautiful story about grief, forgiveness and letting go.
This book had a similar vibe to The House in the Cerulean Sea and I loved it. Magic woven into a realistic setting in combination with the author's poetic writing style made it an absolute joy to read.
I loved the magical library, the idea of releasing the sad stories' sadness as one reads them and the mystery behind Eloura.
My only complaint is the lack of interaction between Liddy and the Keymaker. Their falling in love had no foundation. If we got to see them interact and get to know each other more throughout the story, so the progress of their relationship seemed more natural, this book would have been a 5 star read for me.
