3 stars cause I liked the first book more and I did not cry during this one.
So parts of this is cute friends to lovers romance. The rest is Drew driving himself crazy by trying to do so many things on his farm, that he cannot take break and he is still behind schedule so his anxiety levels are of the roof. And mine were too at times. Cause Drew is one those people who gets so anxious that they cannot see that they already accomplished a lot and can´t seem to find confidence in their work, but also are not able to ask for help. So yeah I have been stressing with this man and I am on my break, which was supposed to be stress free...
And the romance? I do not think there was that much of it. Penny and Drew knew other since high school and ever since they met Drew liked her, but was afraid of things changing between them. Drew needs a little push, which arrives in a form of Abelardo, Penny´s handsome childhood friend, who seems to be really close to her. Overall it was sweet, cute and short read.
