In Defense of Food: An Eater's Manifesto by Michael Pollan

5.0

This is actually the first Michael Pollan book I've read, even though we own two at home. I LOVED this book for how it suggested broad ways to choose and eat food, without boiling down to meal plans. Maybe that was partly because it was fairly in line with how I already eat, and where we diverged I felt really energized by the book's suggestions.

I particularly like the way nutritional research is discussed, because I think it provides a useful understanding of the limits and strengths of many scientific research studies.
