I…..don’t know how to feel about this book. It was a quick read for me, but I almost DNFed it at the beginning. I’m glad I stuck with it, but I spent the whole time trying to figure out if I actually liked it or not. It reminds me of Lovers and Writers in the sense of being a person trying to figure themselves out, but the main character in this book just reeks of privilege that makes it hard to read. I get that that’s the point, but like…..you don’t really need to do drugs to figure yourself out.
It was fine, but I don’t think I’d recommend this one unless someone has the time and energy to sift through for the deeper meaning.
