Kimberly Lemming does it again!
Honestly docked .5 star because it was my first audio book since childhood and the voices just didn’t do it for me 🫣
The characters brought the same troupe this series is built on (human and monster/ plus size MC of Color/ ambiguous in morals but truly sexy creature 🤷🏽♀️)
I get why this is book 1.5 and definitely loved the introduction to a character who definitely is memorable and their entrance into book 2 makessss sooo much sense now.
The plot is not the same as the others in the series but gives more into the traditions and history of the creatures (formally called demons in the series).
Comical, Steamy & a great quick read/ listen (if you aren’t particular with voices- then I’d stick with reading it vs listening)
