Holy shit.
This book is WILD. I started it to get myself out of a reading slump and that it did! It took me about 20% of the way through to really get into it as my ability to focus on anything was absolute garbage. Once I hit the sweet spot, I couldn’t stop. Ashley Winstead’s writing is phenomenal and I love that she incorporated my personal holy trinity into this book: podcasts, murder and CULTS. This book had me sweating, my heart pounding, and holding my breath at points. If I was a character in this book, I would have been rocking back and forth in the fetal position 80% of the time.
