One of the best reads I’ve read in a long time. It was so visceral and real I thought that there’s no way this guy is NOT a ww2 vet. I finished the book and then went to a yin yoga class and unconsciously released all of the horror and terror I had been holding in with a deep deep sadness from this book. It weaves in the storylines together so well - a tapestry of pain. How can we humanize the very dehumanization of war?
