I absolutely loved this book.

While the dual 2nd and 3rd person narration was jarring at the beginning I found that I loved it more and more as the book went on.

The POVs of each character from the narrator were also really interesting, and the multiple time lines kept the story moving forward while adding the smallest bit on additional information as needed.

I will say that I would not have been able to read this book at all in an ebook form. Because but only were there multiple timelines, the multiple time lines head multiple POV stories and I was continuously flipping back and forth to reorient myself in the story.

But there was magic, intrigue, mystery and excellent writing. I was thoroughly enthralled and could envision the parts of the circus described.

While there was a love story, it was not overly prominent and it was done in such a unique captivating way, I actually found it quite refreshing.

I imagine reading this again in the future and picking up all kinds of kitties bread crumbs.
