I decided to pick up this sequel to Fireborne for my first read of Battleathon hosted by Mellenorereads. This book fits the week one prompts with books with a school setting and library book.
I really enjoyed this book! It picked up right where Fireborne left off and we also had some new perspective and characters. I really enjoyed the perspectives of Griff which gave us insite into what is going on with the enemy. I also really enjoyed Annie and Lee's perspectives as well.
I don't typically like politics but for some reason it works for this story for me! I think this story is very exciting and its definitely a page turner. I'm not going to go into too much detail but I think there are 2 sides to every story. I don't know who to root for or where this book is going to go next. I am very intrigued by this storyline tho because I think all of the characters have strong storylines that are engaging for the reader.
I definetly enjoyed the audiobook so I'm a little nervous that libby doesn't have the audiobook for the 3rd book. But I am still excited for this conclusion.
