From the age of 8 I have watched and rewatched Buffy, over and over, so I'd say I'm quite a big Buffy fan. However this is the first of my forray into any of the comics.
This series is set in an alternate universe, where humans and vampires seem to be coexisting equally, and we follow a cynical Buffy, now age 50.
Honestly, I can see why fans of the series may dislike this. It really departs from everything we know about the Buffyverse, the scooby gang, and the canon/characters deaths in the series are different
