I’d give it more than five stars if I could.
Carley Fortune just solidified her title as the queen of second chance romance with MMATL. If Every Summer After didn’t convince you, this will. I fell in love instantly with Will and Fern, even Maggie and Peter in the background. Love and Loss are hard topics to marry in romance novels but I think she did a phenomenal job of bringing these two together despite what life threw at them.
It’s hard to top yourself when you hit the ground running with a debut novel like Every Summer After but trust me, Meet Me At The Lake lives up to the hype and keeps the ball rolling with confident strides.
Carley if you’re reading this I happily and eagerly (though not very patiently if I’m being honest) await your next book.
