Interesting concept, having dragons shift into humans and experience all of our messy human emotions, relationships, and problems! I enjoyed this adventure. It was borderline too political for me, especially the first few chapters. I wished the action could have started sooner, but I pushed through and read the book until the end. I would recommend to others having a difficult time starting this book to keep going too. It's worth it at the end. Not a typical "fairy tale" either, not even wrapped up neatly at the end! This tale boggled my mind, but it was fun and intense.
