Where to start with this book…..
Firstly, the characters are mostly horrible. I hate the “American tourist” trope….I do get it, many times we are annoying while traveling, but all of them being this annoying and stereotypical? Over half of the characters are wildly unlikeable.
Constantly having a late twenties woman be referenced as a child and as a Communist is also just ridiculous.
Cannot say that I would recommend this book to anyone. I don’t usually write reviews on books, but this is one to not really waste one’s time on.
