5 hilariously witty stars!!
OH. MY. GOODNESS! I absolutely am in love with this book! Rain and Danny have some of the best banter and it was absolute perfection! This book is like a romantic Criminal Minds episode with a paranormal twist (aka totally my thing and it should be yours too!!)
Rainstorm Christensen (yes that's his name, yes he hates it, yes I love it.) works for the FBI and after sighting a few ghosts he's dubbed the agency freak and is sent to his hometown to work on a cold case. Insert Danny McKenna. Danny and Rain dated for years prior to Rain's moving to DC to work with the FBI. They are put together on a cold case and ...yup the sparks are back!
Rain is seriously one of the best written characters I have ever read! Like for real. This story is told entirely from his point of view and he is seriously soooooo freaking funny I was smiling throughout the whole book. Every single thought was snarky, witty, or sarcastic and it was so. fucking. perfect. I am totally in love with him!
Every character is so unique and funny! From his crazy parents (helloooo where did the name Rainstorm come from!!) to his sister to the current ghost haunting him, Ethan! Loved them all!
Oh and let's not forget that the sex scenes are ooooohh soooo amazing!! You gotta wait for them a bit but boy is it worth the wait!!
All I want is more books from Rain's perspective!! It's set as a standalone right now but it is totally set up in a way that they can be more and I am hoping for more!!!
