What You Are Looking For is in the Library by Michiko Aoyama

This was maybe not the most engaging read, but enjoyable with a nice gently optimistic tone. Although it seems in every case, the characters were all looking for career changes at the library. In that sense, it was a bit repetitive even though the characters profiles are all quite different they respond quite similarly.

Still, it is a nice reminder to look sideways and try new things. I understand why there is such affection for the book in the reviews. Thought it was a quietly powerful angle to take, making the book a celebration of community spaces including outside the library door and not just about the power of books (which in this case is delightfully show, not tell).
