I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed the rock n' roll, 70s, biopic vibes. My main complaint (that keeps this from 5 stars) was that I felt very thrown in, like I was supposed to know more about the band/world than I did when I started the book. I don't think I ever really nailed down the band members' roles exactly. I also was annoyed at how objectified Daisy was by everyone in her life (even the women!), but I also think that that's maybe part of her character? That's a half-baked thought.
Was I torn between the chemistry of Daisy and Billy and really wanting Billy to be a good husband/dad the whole time? Yes. Did I cry? Yes. Am I proud of people who aren't even real? Yes.
Gonna binge the whole TV show now!
