The Song of Achilles was so good. I loved the romance between Achilles and Patroclus, and how it began as adolescent crushes into adulthood love. They confided in each other for most of their choices, only struggling together when Achilles begins to feel more pressure from the prophecy. I wish there was more of them during their time with Chiron, but I enjoyed how their relationship flourished.
Patroclus dying in Achilles armor and Briseis yelling at Achilles after was one of my favorite parts, because you can see how losing Patroclus is what made Achilles come back to himself while also losing his will to live. Thetis spending Achilles whole like hating Patroclus, only to be the one to bring them back together and put Patroclus to rest was something I thought was very well done.
All in all I think the book is done amazingly and deserves the hype that it gets.
