Having read and enjoyed the 'Off Campus' series, I was a bit hesitant to read a book about Garrett and Hannah's daughter, mainly because I think it was a bit soon to write a spin-off with the kids, however, I really enjoyed Gigi's story.

I found the writing to be a lot stronger and more fleshed out in this book, compared to the 'Off Campus' series. The family dynamic was a strong theme throughout the book, including Gigi's relationship with her "Uncles" and I hope this continues within other books in this new series.

Gigi and Luke's relationship definitely had some hurdles, which I enjoyed seeing them overcome, however, I am disappointed that Elle used sex as a filler in the book. The last chapter had 3 pages of them having sex, which didn't add anything to their relationship or the story as a whole. The final chapter would have been a lot better without the sex.

If you are in the UK and have purchased a copy from Piatkus then I would be wary of grammar, spelling mistakes along with missing words. This happens throughout the whole book and it was off-putting. Once or twice I can deal with it, but it was every other page.
