Wasn’t actually expecting to like this one but was intrigued because the show is so good. Didn’t care for the first book, so I was surprised how much I liked this one. There are differences from the show though, and while I won’t give away spoilers, I looked this ending and wonder of there will be more parallels to it in the last season. It kind of feels like the show is now mostly focused on June’s life in Canada versus this book which is still taking place in Gilead. I don’t care if shows and movies mirror the books their made from. In fact, I generally appreciate them separately and independently because of the contrasts, as is the case here.
