Sweet Baby by Teddy Jovial

5.0

Sweet Baby is a very wholesome, beautifully written love story about two people who finally find the best in themselves and realise that they deserve happiness. It is also an endearing story of strong friendships that are stronger than family bonds.

Eric, a self-confessed serial dater, not looking for a relationship and a divorce lawyers is thrusted into the path of Adrianna, a NICU nurse taking care of his grandson. The tug-of-war of adoption verses keeping a drug baby is left upto Eric to decide if he is going to step up and give up his bachelor lifestyle. Whilst, Adrianna, hiding her own drama, is left to help wean the baby from drugs and to provide the care that is necessary for the newborn.

The tension between the two MCs is strong and even stronger with the help of Miranda, Eric's best friend, who develops a friendship with Adrianna.

Sweet Baby is written from dual POV, and provides a great insight into the characters transition from where they started to their ending.

It is a feel good book and one that allows emotions to drip from the pages. The characters are relatable and there are both strong female and male characters.

There are a few TW so read those before reading.

Loved the story, the characters and, of course, the baby.
