Iron House by John Hart

Wow! What a book! I haven't read anything like this probably since I read The Firm by John Grisham or Tell No One by Harlan Coben. This book was action-packed, and that's an understatement! It contained mystery, intrigue, organized crime, murder, dirty politics, mental illness, and family. It was about the strength of family, forgiveness, love, and redemption. I found the characters to be interesting and much more realistic and believable than I had anticipated. Sometimes plot heavy books often neglect character development, but not this one. I felt that the motives of each character were believable and that as a reader you could identify with their actions to some extent- even if you didn't necessarily agree, you understood. Excellent book!
