Of Glass and Glamour by Chanda Hahn
4.0

***4.5 stars***

Of Glass and Glamour was so good. I liked it more than Of Beast and Beauty, which may partially be because I can't remember all of what happened in it, but I liked the characters and the magic better.

The Characters. The characters were the main reason I liked Of Glass and Glamour more than Of Beast and Beauty. I loved and hated these characters, but the ones I hated in this were also just better characters. Like, I preferred Dorian to Xander. Eden was my favorite, duh, because she is just so cool. And smart. Also, I love all of Mother Eville's adopted children! And Eden was great! Then there was Dorian, who I don't quite know if I liked. There were times where he was really funny and I definitely liked him, but there were also times where he was being too controlling of Eden, so I didn't like him as much. Then, Evander. Ew. I hated him throughout the whole book. He was mean, he was gross, and he was so terribly cruel. My least favorite character for sure. I loved Honor and Adelle. I definitely liked Honor more than Adelle, but they were both quite fun. And Bravado! I loved Bravado too!

The Plot. The plot in this book was great. I loved Eden's story line. Trying to find her family, trying to become queen, trying to kill a prince. Everything played out so well.
SpoilerOkay, I totally predicted that Dorian was Prince Vincent! The second it said that Prince Vincent was dead, I was like, no way. He's not dead! And then Dorian was introduced and I was like, okay, yeah, he's this "dead" prince.

The Magic. Okay, I liked glamour magic a lot more than whatever magic Rosalie had. It was super cool, and I would totally love to have it! I mean, being able to change anything to appear how you want it to be? That is literally so cool!

I am now moving on to Of Sea and Song, and I am looking forward to it so much! I love Meri, and I heard this book has pirates in it!!! Yay!
