Where do I start? This book left me breathless. It has everything I wanted and more. I love these characters, not you though Dara I'm not talking about you, and to follow them as everything crumples around them is so satisfying. The palace intrigue, the betrayals, the mutinies, the beliefs of these characters, the scheming, the loyalties, the power shifts... So entertaining, so good!
I am quite glad I have chosen the right side, God bless Alizayd and his siblings, and Nahri. This book cemented Ali as my favorite character, and I'm with him 'till the end of this journey. And what a journey this has been so far... I can only imagine what's in store for the conclusion of this amazing story.
