Did not finish book. Stopped at 33%.

What is going on here?! I thought I would get a heartwarming story about an old lady and an octopus in the style of Fredrik Backman. What's up with this Cameron dude though?! I feel cheated, because he wasn't mentioned in the descriptions for this book at all. Not only is he a part of this book, he also incredibly present. Which means that the majority of what I have read so far is about him. It's incredibly misleading to not put that into the description. As many other reviewers I wanted more of Marcellus and less whiny humans.
