I loved this book so much! I'm a big planner and am always thinking of the future, so the message of this story hit hard.

The idea of having a glimpse of a future that doesn't make any sense with your current path is awesome, especially for a character like Dannie who thinks she has it all figured out, who is not surprised anymore. I loved the trajectory her life takes and how she slowly learns to let go and just be.

I also loved how Dannie was an unapologetic workaholic. She loved her job and wasn't punished for it. She could work and still have fun and be there for her friend when she needed it. A great message that you can manage both. And her boss was amazing!

I found the ending surprising but ultimately perfect. This book reminded me a lot of the movie Beaches and I had the song "Wing Beneath My Wings" stuck in my head while I was reading! That should tell you in a nutshell what this book is about.
