A Dirty Job by Christopher Moore

5.0

I liked this book because it was different. The main character is a neurotic male that would be a loser in real life. It involves Death Merchants, which are different from Grim Reapers in that they don't actually kill people. Most importantly, this book has a definite sense of humor. For example, hellhounds. The main characters ends up with a paid of hellhounds for pets, and they literally eat anything: frozen chickens, soap, shoes, car bumpers, toasters, etc.

It may not be for everyone, but if you want something different, this book fits that bill. I've read some other books by Moore, but still think this is his best.
