I would like to think that this is leading up to the conclusion that has been taking literal decades to get to. This last volume had all of the lovely bits about Green Rider that I find make this series so endearing. It was wonderful to see this story finally being taken seriously by its author. (I'm still bitter about Mirror Sight)
I do feel like Britain is still uncertain about what ending she wants to and used a lot of this book to get rid of any potential plot holes and so some aspects felt awfully convenient, but I'm holding my breath until the end to see if it all leads to an epic conclusion.
